My name is Stephanie Krahn and I teach in TITLETOWN, USA. For those of you that don't know, that is Green Bay, WI. (Technically I teach in De Pere, a suburb of GB, but it's all the same to us Packer fans!).
I have been married for 5 years to my supportive husband Tom. We have two beautiful children together, Landon (4) and Ava (2). Busy? YES. Lovin' every second of it? ABSOLUTELY!
As you can see by the football terminology, game time is my school year. All the preparation from summer and long nights goes into helping my little kiddos learn so much throughout the year. I've taught for 10 years, almost all in 3rd grade. I love this age SO MUCH and especially have a passion for literacy and technology.
When I'm not teaching, I love to cook and watch cooking shows (Masterchef or Top Chef, anyone?) I love to garden, wish Chip and Joanna would come redo my house and make projects when I have time. Of course, being with my family is my favorite way to spend my free time. I do enjoy sharing great books (I sell Usborne), reading, going for walks, and enjoying the summer sunshine!
Three years ago I embarked on a journey of sprucing up things I was using in my classroom to start selling on TPT. It was truly life changing for a few reasons. The items I made for my classroom were better. My teammates enjoyed using them in their room as well. It was humbling to know teachers all over the country and world were using them with their students! And the extra "fun" money allowed my family to take two vacations that we might not have otherwise.
This young family is the reason why I haven't made many items TPT ready (I have a high standard) and haven't jumped into social media updates until now. Thanks to overlapping naptimes I think I am finally ready for this next adventure!
